Françoise Claro

A veterinarian, and having gained a Ph.D. in genetics and evolution, Francoise is leading a wild fauna project for the service of the Natural Inheritance of the National Natural History Museum of Paris, where she coordinates the action plans and the restoration of wild fauna. The restorations are set up by the Environment and Sustainable Development Ministry.

Francoise is also an expert on the French IUCN committee, and the specialist in zoology for French "National Geographic" magazine. She is the author of many publications on the oryx, addax and cheetah and of several books on conservation and wildlife, especially for children aged 8 to 12 years.
